Special container for radar system and processor for observing and tracking objects in space such as satellites and spacecraft

Development of a customized container solution with integrated air conditioning technology for the mobile space radar GESTRA. The aim was to achieve maximum energy efficiency while meeting complex installation conditions and ensuring reliable cooling of the technical rooms. Despite the complexity, efficient cooling of the GESTRA shelter and the technical rooms was guaranteed. All components were integrated with the highest efficiency standards and optimum energy costs in mind.

With a weight of around 90 tons and dimensions of 20 m long and 4.2 m wide, this special container was one of the heaviest that Gföllner has ever delivered. The project combined outstanding technical performance and innovative solutions for use as a radar container for the direct measurement of space debris.
