Cabin construction for rail vehicles
Lightweight construction, robustness and integration capability

Our cabin modules are based on welded lightweight frames in CL1 quality in accordance with DIN EN 15085-2. This skeleton structure is specially designed for dynamic loads in rail transport and at the same time offers a low dead weight with high structural stability. The design enables modular extensions, large access doors and easy dismantling of the hood for service work or system retrofitting.
Advantage: Highest load capacity with simultaneous flexibility.
All cabin frames are hot-dip galvanized and also painted in accordance with EN ISO 12944-5 in C3 to C5M quality. EMC-compliant coatings, acoustically optimized wall structures and anti-graffiti solutions are optionally available on the inside. Fire protection requirements in accordance with EN 45545 (REI 30 to REI 120) are also met and documented. The specifications of DIN EN 17460, the standard for bonding technology in rail vehicle construction, apply to bonded components.
Advantage: Long-term protection in all climatic and environmental conditions - even in tunnel operation, high humidity or chemical exposure.
