Senior Specialist Purchasing (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Identification and evaluation of suitable suppliers and their offers in coordination with technology, project management and customers
• Conducting market research in various procurement markets
• Soliciting cost estimates and negotiating supply and framework agreements including prices
• Supporting the preparation of detailed reports (KPIs) for information purposes
• Supplier evaluation and risk management
• Materials for procurement via the system

• Support in the creation of detailed reports (KPI) for information purposes
• Supplier evaluation and risk management
• Prepare materials for procurement via the system (master data maintenance and article creation in the ERP system) or processing of orders
• Support of operational purchasing, e.g: Processing order confirmations; deadline tracking.
• Processing complaints and escalation management
• Building and developing the supplier network and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
• Participating in internal and external audits
• Actively contributing to the optimisation of strategic and global purchasing processes

Your profile:

• Completed technical or commercial training
• Multiple years of purchasing experience (preferably in steel and mechanical engineering)
• Very good IT skills (MS Office) and good English
• Experience with ERP systems advantageous (SAGE)
• Experience with ERP systems advantageous (SAGE).systems an advantage (SAGE)
• Cost awareness
• Accurate and structured work as well as initiative
