Head of IT (m/f/d)

For our internationally active manufacturing company with around 1,100 employees, we are seeking an experienced and committed leader who will actively shape our IT landscape, drive forward modern technologies and establish the highest standards in information security.

In this high-responsibility role, you will lead an IT team of around 12 staff members and be responsible for our company’s entire IT landscape, including the international production sites in the Czech Republic and the USA.

Your responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the stable, secure and efficient IT operations of the entire group of companies
• Technical and managerial leadership and development of the IT team at the Stritzing site, comprising around 12 staff members
• Strategic development of the IT infrastructure and IT architecture, as well as the entire IT system landscape
• Defining the strategic use of external service providers and technology partners
• Evaluating and implementing new technologies to support the company’s growth
• Budget planning and strategic management of the IT department

Your profile: 

• A degree (from a university of applied sciences or a university) in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years’ professional experience as an IT manager in an international manufacturing company of a comparable size
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure and IT service management
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, as well as a solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
• Very good written and spoken German and English

For this full-time position, a gross annual salary starting at 90,000 euros is offered. We are happy to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
