Your responsibilities:
Responsibility for the strategic procurement of defined product groups
Development and implementation of sustainable procurement and supplier strategies
Independent management of price, contract and terms negotiations at national and international level
Selection, development and evaluation of suppliers in terms of quality, costs and delivery performance
Analysis of procurement markets and identification of potential for savings and optimisation
Close collaboration with the Production, Quality Management and Logistics
Management and implementation of procurement projects, as well as active participation in cross-functional improvement initiatives
Support and professional guidance for buyers within the team
Your profile:
Technical or commercial training (apprenticeship, HTL, degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable qualification)
Several years’ professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally within a manufacturing company
A proven track record of success in leading complex contract and price negotiations
A high level of negotiating skill, assertiveness and strong communication skills
A structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
Willingness to travel (20%)
Very good written and spoken German and English

A gross salary of €3,800 is offered for this full-time position. We are happy to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
