As part of a major international project, a new logistics centre is being built in Ort im Innkreis to supply our assembly site in the USA. During this set-up phase, you’ll have the opportunity to play an active role in shaping processes and take on responsibility right from the start. The site plays a central role throughout the entire supply chain: from goods receipt through to storage, order picking and dispatch preparation, you will work with the team to ensure a smooth flow of materials. The final assembly of the technical containers then takes place at the US site.
Your responsibilities:
Technical and managerial leadership of the goods-in team in logistics
Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations (coordination of deliveries, unloading, goods acceptance, complaints handling, and warehousing)
Working closely with relevant departments (Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Sales, etc.) to ensure optimal material flow control
Responsibility for managing and further developing goods-in processes
Further development of the team as well as existing structures and processes
Implementing lean methods and shop floor management, as well as ensuring compliance with safety guidelines
Your profile:
Successfully completed vocational training (apprenticeship, foreman’s qualification, A-levels), ideally in the field of logistics
Initial management experience in a shop floor environment
In-depth knowledge of logistics within a manufacturing company (e.g. warehouse logistics, production supply, material flow)
A hands-on approach combined with a structured and proactive way of working
A process-oriented mindset and approach
Experience of and interest in the application of lean methods and digitalisation
Proficiency in using MS Office, ERP systems and logistics-related software
Very good written and spoken German and English

For this full-time position, a gross salary starting at 3,800 euros is offered. We are happy to offer a higher salary depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
