Logistics staff member (m/f/d)
As part of a major international project, a new logistics centre is being established in Reichersberg to supply our assembly site in the USA as well as other international customers. During this set-up phase, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in shaping processes and take on responsibility right from the start. The site will play a central role throughout the entire supply chain: From goods receipt through to storage, order picking and dispatch preparation, you will work with the team to ensure a smooth flow of materials. The final assembly of the technical containers then takes place at the US site.
Your responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking and storing delivered materials, parts and components
- Picking large and small parts according to orders
- Packaging for dispatch, securing loads and loading for overseas transport
- Loading and unloading lorries, as well as internal material transport
- Ensuring orderly and structured warehouse operations
- Compliance with safety and quality standards
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training in logistics, warehouse management or a comparable qualification, or several years’ professional experience in the warehouse or logistics sector
- An independent, structured and reliable approach to work
- A strong focus on quality and a high degree of accuracy when carrying out tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Initial experience with ERP or warehouse management systems would be an advantage
- Forklift licence would be an advantage
- Good written and spoken German
