Apprenticeship in metal technology (m/f/d)

As a metal technician specialising in steel or vehicle construction, your work centres on metals, machinery and tools. Your tasks will include processing metals and using them to design and manufacture components and products.
An overview of your apprenticeship content:
- Metalworking – sawing, drilling, turning, milling and welding
- Manufacturing and assembling components for machinery and plant
- Working with modern machinery and plant
- Reading technical drawings and putting them into practice
- Working safely in accordance with quality and safety regulations
Right from the start, you’ll gain practical insight and learn, step by step, to take on responsibility.

Duration of the apprenticeship: 3.5 years
The Steel Construction Technology module is also available as a dual apprenticeship alongside the Welding Technology module (duration: 4 years).
The apprentice’s salary (gross per month) in accordance with the collective agreement for the metalworking industry is:
1st Apprenticeship year: EUR 1,071.00
2nd apprenticeship year: EUR 1,295.40
3rd apprenticeship year: EUR 1,657.50
4th Apprenticeship year: EUR 2,152.20
