Conducting procurement market analyses, as well as developing and expanding the supplier portfolio with a focus on long-term and strategic business relationships
Creating and implementing efficient supplier and product group strategies, taking into account the best possible quality, security of supply and price
Planning tenders on your own responsibility, Conducting negotiations and professional contract management
Interfacing with the relevant departments in the company such as engineering, quality assurance, work preparation, project management and sales
Active risk, complaint and claim management
Co-design and development of relevant KPIs for better control and optimisation of procurement processes
Your profile:
Completed technical or commercial training (HTL, HAK, Uni, FH....)
Professional experience in purchasing, ideally in steel and mechanical engineering
Know-how in the application of modern purchasing tools and methods
Convincing and confident demeanour, Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
Team player with communication skills
Cost awareness as well as entrepreneurial and analytical thinking
Proactive personality with a precise and structured way of working
Sure handling of MS Office
Experience in working with ERP systems is an advantage (SAGE)
Skills in written and spoken English

For this position, a gross salary of 3.800,- Euro is planned. We are happy to overpay depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
